The next racing event at Golden Pine Raceway will be a dual sanctioned event featuring a NMA Ponca City Qualifier for the Dixie Region and Round 3 of the District 19 Championship Series. This event is presented by Road and Track Powersports in Brookhaven, MS and will be held on May 17th & 18th. The event will feature organized practice on Saturday with racing on Sunday. Golden Pine Raceway will be raising money for Frances Bozeman at this race. Riders can donate their time by working at the track or donate money to help Mrs. Bozeman. Golden Pine Raceway will be contributing a portion of the race entry fees as well as the expenses saved from volunteer workers to Mrs. Bozeman.

B R E A K I N G N E W S

The majoriy of the weekends in April and May are being occupied by motocross schools. A new web page has been created to highlight upcoming schools that have yet to be filled.

The Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier at Golden Pine Raceway is greeted with excellent weather, strong rider participation and great track conditions.

The District 19 Championship series has been announced and will link together all of the great races held at Golden Pine Raceway in 2008. The series offers contingency to top finishers in each class and the rider with most series points at the conclusion of round 5 will be awarded sponsorships from EVS and FLY for 2009.

Golden Pine Raceway will be hosting round 16 of the Gulf Coast Championship Series at our Season Finale race on November 1st & 2nd.

The 2nd annual Mississippi State Championship will be held at Golden Pine Raceway on September 27th and 28th. The event will be AMA sanctioned in 2008 and will be recognized by the AMA as the official state championship for Mississippi. This event will also be an AMA Pro Racing Pro-Am points paying event.
